Rinnai code 70: Control board (PCB) failure

The heater's main control board detected an internal fault.
This needs a licensed gas technician. There are a few safe checks you can do first, marked below. Anything inside the unit is a job for a professional.
What causes it

A loose or damaged wiring harness connection, or a failed control board.
Clear a Rinnai continuous flow error codeYou can do this
- Turn the hot water tap off, then on again.
- If the code is still showing, press the On/Off button on the water controller to turn it off, then on again.
- If it still shows, switch the heater off at the power point, wait 10 seconds, then switch it back on.
- If the code remains, contact Rinnai or a licensed technician with the code, model and serial numbers.
